Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to Relnote, a mobile app developed by Relteco Teknoloji Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti. ("Relteco", "we"). Relnote can be used without signing in; most of the data below is processed only if you optionally create an account or use sync.

1. Data we collect

• Account info — your email and display name when you sign in with Apple, Google or email. (Not collected if you don't sign in.)
• Note content (end-to-end encrypted) — if you enable cross-device sync, your notes are stored on our server encrypted. The decryption key never reaches the server; we cannot read your content (zero-knowledge).
• Device/session data — device name and session tokens for sync.
• Advertising identifier — your device's advertising ID for serving ads via AdMob (only with your permission).
• Security logs — a hashed form of your IP address to prevent abuse; raw IPs are not stored.
• Local data — notes are also stored locally on your device; these are not sent to our server when sync is off.

2. How we use data

• To provide the app, authenticate your account and sync your notes across devices.
• To keep the service free by showing ads via AdMob.
• For security and to prevent abuse and fraud.

3. Third parties

• Google AdMob — ad serving and measurement (Google Privacy Policy).
• Sign in with Apple / Google Sign-In — for authentication only.

Because note content is encrypted, it cannot be shared with or read by third parties.

4. Tracking (App Tracking Transparency)

On iOS we ask for your explicit permission (ATT) before any tracking for personalized ads. If you decline, ads are shown non-personalized. EU users are shown Google's consent (UMP/GDPR) form.

5. Retention

We retain account and sync data until you delete it or close your account. Security logs are kept briefly.

6. Your rights & account deletion

In the app you can permanently delete your account and all server-side data (synced notes, shares, device records) via Settings → Account → Delete account. You may also exercise access, rectification, deletion and objection rights via [email protected].

7. Children

Relnote is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the current version is always published at this address.
